A limited edition of Andrzej and Eliza’s album “Czas relaksu” (Time to Relax) released on transparent orange vinyl in the Color Limited series.

Andrzej and Eliza’s second album was recorded in 1974. It contains the group’s biggest hit “Czas relaksu” (Time to Relax). It is a more mature proposition than the debut, full of interesting songs in a folk-rock anthology. It is colourful, which is already confirmed by the opening song, which was to be the title track “Franciszek, Marianna i inni” (Francis, Marianne and others) thanks to crystal-clear vocal harmonies and Bogdan Olewicz’s sociological text. Also making a great impression is the serene “Kiedy wszystko się nagle zmienia” (When Everything Suddenly Changes) with its lyrical saxophone part or the upbeat, dynamic “Wahanie” (Hesitation), evoking echoes of folk rock greats from the 1960s.

Then there are subtle ballads with beautiful melodies: “Z mego życia” (From My Life), “Jeszcze tylko jeden dzień” (Just One more Day), cross over with compositions with more elaborate arrangements: “Ten nudny, siódmy dzień tygodnia” (This boring seventh day of the week) or “Epitafium dla miłości, której nie był” (Epitaph for a Love that wasn’t there). The whole thing makes, even years later, an excellent impression. This is amongst the top when it comes to Polish folk rock of the 1970s.
