  The album “Geira”, recorded with the SBB band, is a fascinating testimony to the unruly artistic choices of one of Poland’s most interesting vocalists. Recorded in March 1977, “Geira” is the culmination of two years of Halina Frąckowiak’s collaboration with Józef Skrzek, who prepared a whole series of wonderful, intriguing songs for the singer.
  
  To this day, they delight with their melodies, interesting arrangements on the borderline of funk, pop and rock, timeless lyrics by Julian Matej and, above all, extremely successful vocal parts, presenting a wide spectrum of Halina Frąckowiak’s capabilities. The hit song “Jesteś spóźnionym deszczem” (You Are the Late Rain), the disco song “Wzejdę polnym makiem” (I Will Rise with the Field Poppy) or the solemn “Brzegi łagodne” (Gentle Shores) are still extremely important points in the artist’s output.
