The third album by Czerwone Gitary was released in 1968 and remains a masterpiece of big beat. It brought many timeless hits and sold over 300.000 copies, achieving Gold Record status. In 1969, the group received a trophy at the MIDEM in Cannes for the highest number of records sold in the country of the origin of the performer. The same award was given to The Beatles at the time.

The album “Czerwone Gitary 3” (Red Guitars 3) is a testament to the apogee of the band’s popularity and a collection of superbly written and performed songs remembered and listened to until today, including: “My z XX wieku” (We from the 20th Century), “Dozwolone do lat 18tu” (Allowed under the age of 18), “Kwiaty we włosach” (Flowers in My Hair), “Gdy kiedyś znów zawołam cię” (When I Will Call You again someday). In addition, the edition includes nine bonus recordings from this period from singles and EPs. Among them: “Anna Maria” and “Wróćmy na jeziora” (Let’s Go back to the Lakes).

The third album by Czerwone Gitary is the last album recorded with Krzysztof Klenczon. This talented composer, guitarist and singer left Czerwone Gitary in 1970 and formed his own band, Trzy Korony (Three Crowns).
