It’s the fulfilled expectations of all her fans. Since the beginning of her career, Hana has been known as a singer who can elevate seemingly simple refrain songs into distinctive pop chansons. Well-remembered melodic motifs, here often of a balladic type, and lyrics that are really about something fit perfectly with her heartfelt expression. There are many such backgrounds on this album and they have given rise to a dozen of quite unusual songs.

With only one exception, a song originally from France with Zagorová’s lyrics, this is a luxurious domestic harvest this year. Executive producer Luboš Kříž, in agreement with the performer, approached carefully selected authors and succeeded excellently. Radůza, Ondřej Ládek, Marek Ztracený, Kuba Kubín, Jiří Březík and Martin Chodúr, those who are often themselves esteemed, even stellar presenters of their own work, delivered the complete set of songs with confidence in the next unique result. Hynek Toman and Pavel Trojan also contributed music, with the help of lyricists Pavel Buňata and Václav Kopta. Together, it is a whole of attractive melodies, quality lyrics and the singer’s skill with an extraordinary gift for conveying both optimistic and nostalgic emotions. The booklet contains the lyrics of all songs.

Hana Zagorová’s new album is pleasently personal, thoughtful and polished. From the repertoire starting points to the studio skills of arranger and music producer Dan Hádl to the photography of Anna Kovačič. The title track will be the first single, but don’t worry that there won’t be any more to choose from. You will definitely find many more songs here with the hope of a quick response and lasting success.
