A unique encounter, a unique record on a unique release. We’re home now and The Residents have been friends since 1992 when they first met in San Francisco. Later, in 1995, they worked very closely together on Freak Show Live, with Už Jsme Doma taking on the role of the Circus Freak band and Miroslav Wanek as musical director and conductor. Wanek also wrote the book “Eyeball to Eyeball”, the most comprehensive collection of lyrics by The Residents. And so it came to pass that Randy from The Residents and Už Jsme Doma prepared 13 songs by The Residents in special arrangements adapted for the Už Jsme Doma lineup and sound. The result qualifies as a “third way”, not just The Residents, not just We’re Home Now, but a combination of the best of both.

A recording of the only concert at which all these songs were performed is being released on vinyl as Moravian Meeting. The album is being released by PHR Records on two black vinyl in gatefold sleeves and will be a valuable and beautiful addition to your collections.
