Bohemia was formed in 1975 on the principle of a rock supergroup: it consisted of two members of M. Efekt and two members of Flamengo. Abroad, such groups were almost guaranteed success; in Czechoslovakia, Bohemia was mainly bullied by the bureaucracy. In the three and a half years of its existence, the band changed its line-up several times; in its most famous phase, it consisted of singer Lešek Semelka, guitarist Michal Pavlíček, saxophonist Jan Kubík, bassist Vladimír Kulhánek and drummer Pavel Frištenský.

At first they played short and energetic rock songs in the spirit of Flamengo’s “Kuře v hodinkách” (Chicken in the Clock), then they gradually changed into a jazz rock band. In total, Bohemia recorded one album and four singles. Fortunately, very successful radio recordings have also survived, virtually unknown to the public until now. The double album currently being released contains ten such newly discovered archival gems, including all the tracks from singles and compilations. The first disc contains fourteen studio recordings from the years 1976-1978, the second disc contains the entire concert from the Prague Lucerna and part of the performance in Bratislava, these are professional recordings from 1977. The composition “Po funuse veselka” (Have Fun after Fun) is only available on CD, not digitally.
