Croatia Records Release Information

In April 2022, the group Flyer released the album “Greatest Hits Collection”, which houses their biggest radio hits. Now also the vinyl version of the album is available.

It contains 12 hits that have been ubiquitous in the Croatian radio air for a long time, which made Flyer extremely popular. Petra Kožar, Mario Kovač, Ivan Dumalovski Janjušić, Ivo Dunat and Željko Kožar make Flyer, a band that combines jazz, funk, as needed by rocker riffs and graniose brass sections, and are characterized by a sumptuous rhythm section, melodicity, lyrics and suggestive and strong vocal interpretations.

Or as Zlatko “Turki” Turkalj, the author of the compilation, says: “The potential and quality confirmed in 2004 with their second song “Želim najviše” (I Want the Most), and the status of the musicians to be taken seriously in 2005 with their version of the song “O jednoj mladosti” (About a Youth). In its own way, one of the cult songs of Yugoslavian music production, and not only approaches the quality of the original, but brings an interesting and original solution, only true connoisseurs and lucky ones can. It is one of the most beautiful music collaborations on the Croatian music scene in the last twenty years.”

In addition to the songs already mentioned, there are also “Stanica prema suncu” (The Station to the Sun), “Nismo sami” (We Are not Alone), “Pjesma za dvoje” (Song for Two), “Ritam sunca” (Rhythm of the Sun), “Osjećaj” (Feeling), “Kako da te ne volim” (How Can I not Love You), “Tragovi u tragu” (Traces in the Trail), “Sve je u redu” (Everything Is Fine), “More” (Sea) and “Mala iluzija” (Small Illusion) on the LP.
