Croatia Records Release Information

Boris Novković is one of our most successful and popular singer-songwriters, whose albums have been sold in gold and platinum editions, and his songs such as “Kuda idu izgubljene djevojke” (Where Do Lost Girls Go), “Jači i od sudbine” (Stronger than Fate), “Sve mijenja se” (Everything Changes), “U dobru i zlu” (For Better and Worse), “Dok svira radio” (While the Radio Is Playing), and “Šta je sa princezom moje vrele mladost” (What about the Princess of My Hot Youth) became timeless hits.

His musical career began in 1986 with the album “Kuda idu izgubljene djevojke (Tamara)” (Where Do Lost Girls Go (Tamara)), and the years that followed were marked by numerous awards and recognitions and numerous sold-out concerts.

Croatia Records presents his rich music collection on the double vinyl edition “25 Greatest Hits”, which also includes an interview with Boris Novković.

“It is important to me that the energy of creation is felt on the album. In general, energy is important in songs. Being on the scene for 38 years is like a good lifetime. (...) I have to be honest, it takes me a long time to feel that new wave that appears around the creation of a new album. I felt it in this strange time, in a situation in which we are all a bit suffocated, and fortunately for me, the result is the album “Gori ulica” (The Street Is on Fire), which I am extremely proud of,” says Boris.

Croatia Records launched the series “25 Greatest Hits” exclusively on vinyl last year. It is a music project that aims to recall the most significant, popular and best-selling authors, performers and songs. The authors are music lovers and connoisseurs: Želimir Babogredac, director of the record company Croatia Records, and Zlatko Turkalj, music critic, journalist and radio editor. Iva Vianello from Črčke Design is responsible for the graphic solutions.
