Pavian Records Release Information



The new album offers a total of 13 tracks, which are sensitively selected from both foreign and domestic repertoire. There are also well-known songs signed by composers such as George Gershwin, Edwin Wilcox, Gejza Dusík and Karol Elbert. These are songs and music which, as Juraj Bartoš himself says, was at the time of its creation a social order of the post-war period and sounded quite simply: to forget the horrors of the previous years and have fun. “The music we are playing is proof of that. We try to interpret it as faithfully as possible and thus bring a period atmosphere that is a balm for the soul,” concludes Juraj Bartoš.
